My name is Diane and I’m a new cable TV cord-cutter.  I spent over 20 years with Comcast and when my bill jumped from the $160’s to over $200, I fired them.

I’m not only an amateur cord-cutter, I know less about IT and gadgets than a person blogging about this stuff should.  So, if you have no idea what you are doing, you’ve come to the right blog because I don’t hide the fact that there’s a lot I don’t know.

Baffled by acronyms? I didn’t even know what OTA stood for when I began this adventure and I didn’t know you could catch great looking High Def TV Over-The-Air.  When analog fell silent, I thought that was it. Most of the time, I try to remember to spell out the acronyms so you don’t have to go googling them to find out what they mean the way I had to.

I don’t know how often I’ll post. So, why not subscribe in my sidebar from the home page or sign up to get an email after I post.

  1. Good job with the start of this blog. I’m always looking for ways to not have to pay cable/sat costs.
